Change in Plans–
We were driving down Parks Highway headed toward Kenai and decided to stop at Denali National Park to see what it would be like with our July reservations. While talking with the young workers, one mentioned that we could change our reservations and stay at the park now since we are here. All righty then, that is what we will do! We are now booked here for four nights starting tonight. As soon as this update is posted we will drive to our campsite in Teklanika campground. This is the furthest campground into the park for RVs so we think it will be the best for us.
Shuttle Bus–
You can’t drive in Denali except the to go to the campground on your first day here and to drive out on your last day here. So we bought Shuttle Bus tickets to be able to go around in this huge park.
Going Dark–
We will not be able to post until our stay in Denali is done on June 11th. Then we will post about each day.
