Yesterday 4/4/12 was a busy day in South Lake Tahoe. Toured some of the sights.

Went east down the mountain yesterday to Reno, Nevada. Lots of gambling available but we were there for the Apple computer store. Can’t get my Apple computer to download podcasts to my Nano. OK, I admit, I struggled with this for weeks. Of course, it took the kid with the one ear ring (who was very busy helping about ten other folks at the same time) about 14 seconds to solve my problem so never judge a book by it’s cover applies here. The Apple store was very busy so I had to wait about 30 minutes for help so a 14 second fix is even more embarrassing but, oh well, it works great now.
A TRUCKEE, Ca. Visit
From Reno we went on to the town of Truckee, Ca. located just east of the famous, or more accurately infamous, Donner Pass named after the Donner Party. Truckee is a cute, old, historical town with lots of shops and restaurants. Had dinner with Ann’s brother’s family and visited their popular shop.
